Jeanette Marie Ropper, nee Alexander, age 61, of O'Fallon, born November 10, 1959 in Sacramento, Calif., passed away October 30, 2021.

Jeanette grew up in Sacramento and met her future husband Mike while he was stationed at McClellan Air Force Base. They married in 1983 and moved often due to his Air Force career before settling in O'Fallon in 1996. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and playing the guitar. Jeanette attended Spring Valley Baptist Church, Shiloh.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Chloe, née Thompson, Alexander.

Surviving are her husband Michael G. Ropper, Jr., and son Brian.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon. She will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
