JoAnne Curle, nee Guercio, age 84, of Lebanon, formerly of O'Fallon and Arlington Heights, Ill., born October 21, 1933 in Rocky River, Ohio, died Monday morning, December 18, 2017 at Cedar Ridge Health & Rehab, Lebanon, Ill.

JoAnne grew up in Ohio, the daughter of Sicilian immigrants. She was fluent in Italian and Spanish. She met her future husband, Henry, a co-worker in Cleveland. They lived in California in the 1960s where she worked for a short time for the phone company. Eventually, she and Henry settled in Arlington Heights, Ill.  For many years, she worked at Orval Kent Food Co. in Palatine, where she was well-liked by her peers, retiring in 1979. She lived nearly thirty years in Arlington Heights, before moving to O'Fallon to be near her son Kevin in 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry, her parents Frank and Faye, nee Lentini, Guercio;
granddaughter Jamie Sord; sisters Lucy and Francis; and brothers Frankie and Ross.

Surviving are her sons Kevin (Doris) Curle of O'Fallon, Ill., Dennis Curle of Calif., two step-grandchildren Kristi and Kati; and one great-granddaughter Liberty, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in JoAnne's honor.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.

Funeral: Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 22, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 East Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
