Lloyd Joseph "Joe" LeFrancois, 67, of O'Fallon, Ill., born July 13, 1954 in St. Louis, Mo., died Sunday, June 5, 2022, in Creve Coeur, Mo., under the care of BJC Hospice.

Joe graduated in 1972 from O'Fallon Township High School, O'Fallon, Ill.,, where he played linebacker and kicker for the O'Fallon Panthers. He continued playing football at Southeast Missouri State University and Arkansas State University. Subsequently, he was employed for 39 years by Solvay, Inc., of Sauget, Ill., where he worked as a Production Manager. He was a member of First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, Ill. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball and teaching Sunday School. Joe was an avid outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing. He loved going on cruises and boating at Lake of the Ozarks.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd "Lee" and Nita LeFrancois of Smithton, Ill.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Janice (nee Rapp) LeFrancois of O'Fallon, Ill., and son Griffin LeFrancois of Chicago; sisters Cindy (John) Neville of Gravois Mills, Mo., and Nancy (the late Jim) Hubert of Belleville, Ill., six nephews and three nieces.

Visitation: The family will receive friends 4 – 8 pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Funeral: Funeral will begin at 1 pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, with Rev. Skip Leininger officiating. Interment will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
