Jon William Collins, age 50, of O'Fallon, born December 4, 1971 at Tripler Army Medical Center, in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away October 2, 2022 at his home in O'Fallon.

Jon grew up in O'Fallon, and graduted from OTHS, Class of 1990, and continued his education at SIU Carbondale. After college, Jon lived in Denver for a while before moving back to O'Fallon. He loved visiting Denver and being with the friends he made there. Jon loved dogs, was an avid fan of the Cardinals and Blues, and was a loving brother and uncle and a compassionate, dedicated caregver to both of his parents. He was a talented guitarist and a phenomenal artist. He created many amazing pieces of mixed media art, using pencil sketching, dot art and others.

He was preceded in death by his parents Judith and Douglas Collins.

Surviving are his siblings and their families, Sergeant Major USMC (retired) Joel (Lori) Collins of Belleville, Ill., Jennifer (Jim) Larrison of Glen Ellyn, Ill., nephews USMC Captain Douglas (Elaine) Collins II, Dane Collins, Dryver Larrison, and Stryde Larrison; and two great-nieces Thea and Daisy Collins.
