Jonas Ntezimana Mukiza, Ph.D., age 58, of Swansea, passed away following a sudden illness on December 2, 2022 at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hospital, O'Fallon, Ill.

Dr. Mukiza was a self-employed businessman and the CEO of BEICO International, LLC. His dedication and work with Community Development & Sustainability around the world will leave a lasting impression on the people and communities he worked with. Dr. Mukiza was known and well-respected for his kindness and generosity and for his Christian practices in work and all areas of life.

He is survived by his wife Dorcas Nyiramanyana and his five children.

On Saturday, December 17, 2022 at O'Fallon Assembly of God, 1400 N. Green Mount Rd., O'Fallon, Ill., visitation for public will begin at 11 a.m., in the church AUDITORIUM (enter at southeast corner of facility).

Funeral Service will begin at 12 p.m., in the church SANCTUARY (use main entrance), with Pastor Don Andreasen officiating. Procession will depart church at 1:45 p.m., for a Graveside Committal service to be held from 2 – 3 p.m., at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
