Juanito Rubio Lagmay, Sr., age 89, of Collinsville, Ill., born December 2, 1926 in Manila, Philippines, died December 12, 2015 in Belleville, Ill..

Juanito was employed as an insurance agent in the Philippines. In 1997, he and his wife emigrated to the United States and enjoyed their retirement years with their daughter and her family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Esteban and Leona, nee Rubio, Lagmay and two children.

Surviving are his wife Concordia Lagmay, seven children, fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are suggested to the family to offset the cost of bringing him home to his final resting place in the Philippines.

Visitation: Friends may call 4:00 – 6:00 pm, Friday, December 18, 2015 at O'Fallon Assembly of God Church, 1400 N. Green Mount Road, O'Fallon.

Funeral: 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at the church, with Pastor Don Andreasen officiating. Burial will be in Manila, Philippines.
