Judith Ann DeWitt, age 79, resident of Odin Healthcare Center, Odin, Ill., passed away April 25, 2025.

Judy was born April 5, 1946 in Breese, Ill., the daughter of Vincent and Helen, nee Voigt, Feldmann. She was a longtime employee and manager at Hardee's in O'Fallon, and later retired from Clean Uniform Co. in Highland. Judy loved to crochet and knit, and to travel, especially to the mountains. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating at Carlyle Lake.

She was preceded in death by her father Vincent Feldmann; mother Helen Anderson; grandson John David DeWitt, III; her longtime boyfriend James Britt; former husband John D. DeWitt; and brothers James Feldmann, Ronald Feldmann, Marvin Feldmann and Gary Feldmann.

Survivors include her daughter Mary (William) Cook of Dittmer, Mo., son John D. (Kimberly) DeWitt, II of O'Fallon; grandchildren James H. (Kaley) Ping, II, Theresa (John) Dixon, David Witt, II, Jonathon Dove, Mackenzie (Steve) Depper, Robin Sue Butler, and Samantha Ann DeWitt; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 – 4 pm, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to any cancer support organization or your favorite animal shelter.
