June Isenhart, age 82, of Belleville, Ill., born December 14, 1931, in Springerton, Ill., passed away peacefully into eternal life on July 29, 2014 in Belleville, Ill.

June was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. June was sweet, outgoing, charming, and never knew a stranger. She loved to paint hand-made cards for the holidays, enjoyed cooking, dancing, and always had a new joke to tell. She was a beautician, worked for a physician's answering service, and found much fulfillment volunteering for hospice for 21 years. June was a spiritual woman who really looked forward to her Bible studies over coffee with friends at home. Our little social butterfly now has her wings. For all who knew her as Sis, Mom, Grams, True friend, she will be missed and remembered always.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Cunningham and Fonda Brown, and son Eric Theis.

Surviving are a son Larry (Christy) Theis of Helotes, Tex., and daughter Karen Funk of Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Bruce (Debbi) Brown, of Freeburg, Ill., and two sisters, Ruth White of Freeburg, Ill., and Judy (Tommy) O'Laughlin of St Jacob, Ill.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jared (Lisa) Theis of San Antonio, Tex., and Jodi (Sernando) Sanchez of San Antonio, Tex., Colleen Crowl, of Belleville, Ill., David Theis, of New Memphis, Ill., Raymond Theis, of Freeburg, Ill., and Michelle Theis, of Belleville, Ill.; four great-grandchildren, Joshua Sanchez of San Antonio, Tex. and Eric, Lyndsie, and Evan Theis, and their mother Gina Theis of Breese, Ill.; two nephews, Brian (Brandy) Brown of New Memphis, Ill., and Chip O'Laughlin of St. Jacob, Ill., and one niece Lori (Dennis) Daiber of St. Jacob, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from Noon – 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill.

Funeral: All friends and family are welcome to celebrate June's life at a memorial service to begin at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Hargrave officiating.
