Obituary

Kallie Lynn Frederick, age 43, of O'Fallon, born September 6, 1977 in Miami, Fla. passed away April 8, 2021.

Kallie Lynn, loved affectionately by her mom and family, was a generous, kind, caring, free-spirited person. Kallie lived mostly by her own rules in life. She was known by many names because she wore many hats. Mom was the most important name used by her children. K.K. was used a lot by her sister Chelsea, and Special K was a name Kallie chose to refer to herself. She surely was very special to all who knew her.

Kallie completed up to the 10th grade. School was not for her. She was ready to educate herself. Kallie learned quickly the best education for her was the school of hard knocks. Kallie worked hard. She gave 150% to whatever job she did. Kallie's work ethic was better than most people who have been on the job for years.

Kallie loved to follow her mother and move around a lot. She followed her mother's passion in relocating state to state just for the fun of moving.

Kallie was born in Miami and moved to California at age 1½ . Soon after, she moved to Austin, Texas, and later to St. Robert, Mo. After a short stay in Missouri, she move to Alexander City, Mo. where she bought her first home for herself and her children. Kallie took pride in that home. She loved to decorate her home. She loved how her children could play outside with their friends all day and night. Seven years later, she got the itch to move – to Ketchikan, Alaska. Alaska was a state she really enjoyed. Kallie received a good offer to buy a home again for her family, but that home was in O'Fallon, Ill. This was the last stop, last city, last state. Kallie perished April 8, 2021 at approximately 6:20 p.m. due to Covid-19 complications.

She was preceded in death by her father Michael Frederick, mother Michele Frederick, and her sister Audrey "Aunt Lollly" Peet.

Kallie was number five in a line of sisters. She was the baby of them all. She leaves behind three sisters, Michal Johnson of Palm Coast, Fla., Dorothy "Chelsea" Jensen of O'Fallon, Ill., and Grace Paul of Panama City, Fla. More importantly she leaves behind her four beautiful, smart, and funny children Alexis Kelley, Cameron Kelley, Shaun Kelley, and last, but not least, "Little Lay Lay" Angelina Kelley.

Kallie was a sort of missionary: she helped many people by opening her door for the less fortunate. Kallie would house them until they could get on their feet and move on. Kallie never refused anyone and never judged any person for their mistakes. Her outgoing personality, her nurturing abilities, her laugh, her jokes, her ability to capture moments and savor them for the future for her children will be missed.

Kallie: our mother, friend, and sister… you will be in our hearts forever. You will be missed forever.

Private services will be held at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, with Rev. Jim Deiters officiating.
