Obituary
Karen Eileen Rader, nee Rice, age 73, of O'Fallon, born September 10, 1942 in Wilson Borough, Penn., died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare in Lebanon, Ill.
Karen attended Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, graduated from Penn State, and earned her Master's of Library Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She attended Faith Lutheran Church, where she was a charter member of the bell choir. She was a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, Beta Sigma Phi and O'Fallon Woman's Club, Inc.
Surviving are her husband Roger Rader of O'Fallon whom she married October 12, 1968 in Wilson Borough, Penn., sons Eric Rader of Belleville, and Gary (Valerie) Rader of O'Fallon, her granddaughter Kairi Rader, and her brother Steven (Dorothea) Rice of Milwaukee, Wisc.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents William and Anne, nee Beers, Rice.
Memorial donations are suggested to Faith Lutheran Church Bell Choir or Programs for Young Children (PYC).
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 – 11:00 am, Monday, November 23, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church, O'Fallon.
Funeral: A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am, Monday, November 23, 2015 at the church, with Pastors Robert Downs and Candice Wassell officiating.
