Linda Sue Sonsoucie, nee Taylor, age 71, of Lebanon, Ill., born November 22, 1951 in St. Louis, Mo., to James E. and Gloria Mae, nee Hook, Taylor, passed away Tuesday evening, August 8, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, Ill.

Linda grew up in Belleville and graduated from Belleville East High School Class of '69. She was a talented artist who created many pieces of stained-glass art and custom woodworking. She had been previously employed at Panorama Bowl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Donna Weber; her brother James R. Taylor; and her niece Stacey Taylor.

She is survived by her son Zachary T. Johnson of Lebanon; niece Casey Voegtle; uncle Bill Crisel; and longtime companion Tom Smith.

The family will host a Celebration of Life event. Graveside service will be 2 pm, Friday, August 18, 2023 at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
