Anna "Lois" Phillips, (nee Shelton) age 80, formerly of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 in St. Clair, Mo. Lois was born April 14, 1927 to Grover and Winnie (nee Parris) Shelton in Christopher, Ill.
She is survived by her children, Jan (Ron) Gilreath of O'Fallon, IL; Tom Phillips, Cheri (Michael) Cullen of Robertsville, Mo.; and David (Tanya) Phillips of Apple Creek, Ohio; grandchildren Michael (Kristi) Gilreath of Olney, Ill.; Matthew Gilreath of Pemberton, N.J.; Aaron, Kyle, and Nathan Gillespie of O'Fallon, Ill.; Andrew, Alyssa, Taylor, and Isaiah Phillips of Apple Creek, Ohio; and great-grandchildren, Collin and Evan Gilreath of Olney, Ill.; sisters Mary Bateman of O'Fallon, Ill., Jessie Hawthorne of Belleville, Ill., and Elaine Shelton of Chicago. She was blessed with many wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wallace Chadwell Phillips, who passed away March 11, 2001, and her brothers Ray and Jim Shelton.

Visitation and Gathering of Friends will begin at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.
Funeral Service: A Celebration Service of Life and Friendship for Lois Phillips and her friend June Gibbs will be at Noon, Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery, Ill.
