Lucille Hassard, nee Shoemaker, age 69, born June 15, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.
Lucille had worked as a habilitation technician and nursing assistant at Clinton Manor Living Center. She was a long-time member of the Moose Lodge and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Nellie, nee Duncan, Shoemaker; and her siblings Phyllis Thurman, Eddie Shoemaker, Mark Shoemaker, and Linda Shoemaker.
Surviving are her husband of fifty years, William Hassard, whom she married August 5, 1964; her six children Bill (Deb) Hassard, Pam (John) Roper, Ronald Hassard, John Hassard, Jim (Tony Boscia) Hassard and Tanya (Chris Stump) Hassard-Sheldon.
Also surviving are her grandchildren Rachel Hassard, Jessica (Bill) Taylor, Craig Hassard, Brittany Warnecke, Shelly Hassard, Tyler Hassard, Kara Sheldon, Matthew Sheldon, Christopher Stump, Max Stump, and great-grandchildren Allie Taylor and Kaiden Taylor; and her siblings Patricia (John) Buehler, Jackie (Steve) Holt, Mike (Jean) Shoemaker, and Evelyn (Mark) Wilson.
The family kindly requests that memorials and gifts be made in the form of monetary donations, to offset current expenses.

Funeral: Service will begin at 7:00 pm, Monday, September 8, 2014, at the funeral home.
