Lucille F. Kombrink, nee Obernuefemann, age 95, lifelong resident of O'Fallon, passed away August 3, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare in Lebanon, Ill.
Mrs. Kombrink spent her life growing up and working on the family farm in O'Fallon. She was a former member of Senior Citizens' Club of O'Fallon, and a lifelong parishioner of St. Clare Catholic Church, where she was active in Altar Sodality. At the time of her death, Lucille was one of St. Clare grade school's oldest graduates. Her faith and her family were most important to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Kombrink, who died in 1989; her parents Michael and Anna Obernuefemann; and her six brothers.
Surviving are her children Lavera (Mark Steward) Kombrink of Boston, Mass., Sharon (Steve) Kent of Marshfield, Mass., Kevin (Kathi) Kombrink of Highland, Ill., Gary Kombrink of Lebanon, Ill.; and her nine grandchildren Kyle, Richele, Ryan, Kelly, Karl, Keith, Kolin, Sarah, and Kris.
Memorials are requested to Cedar Ridge Activity Fund.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church, Shiloh, Ill.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the church, with Msgr. William Hitpas, presiding. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
