IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Luke Matthew
Rennison
August 16, 2001 – April 24, 2021
To help us celebrate Luke's life, please wear your own SUPERHERO shirt on Thursday.
Luke Matthew Rennison, age 19, left this life for a new one on April 24, 2021. He was the son of Matt and Kristi Rennison of Belleville, Illinois. He leaves three sisters whom he adored, and they included him in everything that they could. Sarah, Faith, and Gracelyn loved him well.
Other survivors include grandparents Jack Rennison of Pinckneyville, Ill., and Ron and Gayla Hammel of DuQuoin, Ill., aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Karen Rennison who loved him fiercely; they were quite the pair and are together once again.
Luke was a part of the Kids Life Extra Special Needs Ministry at First Baptist Church in O'Fallon. This ministry was a tremendous blessing in our lives. He attended Freeburg Community High School BASSC special education program and was loved on and cared for deeply. Luke had an infectious smile and laugh. He loved anything that went fast – go-kart rides, back in the day, were his favorite.
Luke fought the good fight and God used his life in ways we will never know. He turned broken into whole, and Luke turned weakness into bravery. He was a real SUPERHERO.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, the family wishes to support the
Kids Life Extra Ministry at FBCO
, to where memorial donations are suggested.
