Marian Margaret Bossler, nee Siegel, age 90, of O'Fallon, formerly of Shiloh, Ill., born March 22, 1928 in O'Fallon Township, Ill., died December 1, 2018.

Marian was a member for many years at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where she volunteered with many activities. She and her family farmed in Shiloh, and she canned the homegrown vegetables and fruits, and was a talented quilter. Along with her late husband Stanley, she helped operate Bossler Produce Market and area farm stands. She was a member of Shiloh Valley Grange and the St. Clair County Farm Bureau. Marian loved playing cards with relatives and friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren on the farm.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cornelius Stanley Bossler, whom she married July 13, 1955 in Lebanon, Ill., and who passed away April 7, 2018; her parents George and Anna, nee Fellner, Siegel; siblings Ed Siegel, Larry (Edith) Siegel, Earl "Butch" (Lucille) Siegel, Paul (Loretta) Siegel, Erna Siegel, Norman (Cecilia) Siegel, George Siegel, Joseph Siegel, Lucy (Cyril) Weissert, Hank (Mary) Schwaegel, Bernard (Amelia) Schwaegel, Regine (Orville) Fournie, Pauline (Gregory) Holdener; siblings-in-law Armin "Hap" (Henrietta) Bossler, Richard (Irene) Bossler, Arnold Bossler, Virginia Bossler, and Robert Haukapp.

Surviving are her four children, Clyde (Linda) Bossler of O'Fallon, John (Nancy) Bossler of Highland, Margie (Dan) Thole of Aviston, and Arnold (Vivian) Bossler of New Baden; grandchildren Andy, Eric (fiancée Abby Winter), Melissa, Craig (Melissa Sellers), Matthew (Kayla) Thole, Michelle Thole, Jessika, Natalie, and Douglas; great-grandchild Brayden Thole, and step-great-grandchild Brooke Dulle; sister Rita Haukapp; sister-in-law Theresa Siegel, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations would be appreciated to Family Hospice, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, or as Masses, and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, and one hour prior to Mass on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the church.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Friday,  December 7, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 205 Rasp St., Shiloh, Ill., with Msgr. James Margason presiding. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
