Obituary
Marlene Rea Phillips, nee Reaka, age 64, of Wood River, Ill., was born April 12, 1951 in Belleville, Ill. She died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton, Ill.
Marlene grew up in O'Fallon, the daughter of Maurice "Moe" Emery Reaka and Geralene, nee Rea, Reaka, and attended O'Fallon schools. She had worked in the fine jewelry industry as a sales manager and most recently had driven a school bus in Granite City and Wood River.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Joseph Reaka.
Surviving are her three daughters Tanya Roberts of Hartford, Ill., Kim Cline of Detroit, Mich., and Heather McMillian of St. Charles, Mo.; and her sister Sue Ann (Eric) Archer of Pontoon Beach, Ill.
Memorial Services will be coordinated by her family.
