Mary DeCarpentry, nee Kelleher, age 57 of O'Fallon, Ill., formerly of Bayonne, N.J., born February 24, 1962, died at home December 3, 2019.

Mrs. DeCarpentry entered the civilian workforce as a DoD employee in 1988. As a career Transportation Analyst, her duties included the interpretation of transportation policies and procedures to resolve complex functional requirements. Her efforts translated into the development and implementation of new technology to the DoD Personal Property System. She was a consummate professional and valuable team member. Mary was generous with her time and treasure. She was a talented trumpet player and enjoyed listening to music. She loved all animals and will be missed by her dogs The Lovable Norma Jean, Rusty, and Freckle.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Donald DeCarpentry, son Michael, and parents Donald and Jennie, nee Giaquinto, Kelleher, and her dog Frankie.

Surviving are her siblings Michelle Kelleher of New Jersey; Donald Kelleher of Delaware; niece Jennifer Bieliauskas, and great-nephew and godson Justin DeJesus.

Mary's family is grateful to her co-workers for being such good friends to her, especially after the death of her son, Michael.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill., with a funeral service to follow at 4 pm. She will be laid to rest near her husband and son at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, N.J.
