Age 78, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born in Olive Branch, Ill., passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville. Mary was a bookkeeper for 25 years at Lurie's Furniture in East St. Louis. She was a former parishioner of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Fairview Heights.
Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hendricks, her parents, William C. and Thelma A. (nee Wonderly) Wilbourn; daughter-in-law Jill Hendricks, sister Margaret Henderson, and brother-in-law Jack Hardrick.
She is survived by her children George Hendricks of Champaign, IL; Peggy (John) Harter of O'Fallon, IL; Michael (Betsy) Hendricks of Phoenix, Ariz; Cindy (Kent) Campbell of Scottsdale, Ariz; and Amy (David) Bamper of Edwardsville, IL; grandchildren Corey and Casey Hendricks, LeAnn (Douglas) nee Pressey, Aubrey, Jessica & Brian Hendricks, Christian & Mackenzie Campbell, Blake, Riley, & Logan Bamper; and one great granddaughter, Olivia Aubrey. She is also survived by her sisters Julia (Sam) Moses, Pat (Bob) Gentry, and Betty Hardrick; and her kind and devoted caregiver Shelley Hawthorne.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2007 at St. Clare Catholic Church with Rev. James Deiters presiding.
Graveside committal service will follow at 3 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Villa Ridge, Illinois.
