Obituary

Mary Fekete Klopper, age 80, beloved spouse of Frederick H. Klopper, of O'Fallon, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, born July 26, 1926 in Masontown, PA, passed away September 22, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mary was born to Mary and Frank Fekete, and spent much of her childhood in Richeyville, PA. Mary resided in the Washington DC area for many years before relocating to San Antonio in the early 1970's. She worked in the Personnel Division at Randolph AFB before retiring and starting her second career as a real estate agent in San Antonio. Most recently she spent time between her homes in San Antonio and O'Fallon, Illinois. She was a member of the Military Officers Association of America and the St Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and former husbands, George W. Tasker and Harvey Edwards.

Mary is survived by her husband, Frederick H. Klopper, Colonel, USAF (retired) of O'Fallon, whom she married January 18, 2001; her daughters, Mary Marcia (Eddie) Guerrero of San Antonio, and Patricia Joan (Scott Hangen) Tasker of San Antonio; son G. William (Diane Macaluso) Tasker of Mass., brother Frank (Nancy) Fekete of Georgia, stepsons Frederick John (Donna) Klopper of Woodruff, SC; Robert N. Klopper of Freeburg, IL; stepdaughter, Marilynn Kay (John) Whitener of Lake St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Karly Guerrero, Benjamin Warden; step-grandchildren, Frederick J. (Mickie) Klopper, Jr., Ashlie Klopper, Christopher Klopper, Anna Mooradian, Sarah Mooradian, Andrew M. Whitener, Alexandra M. Klopper, Shannon M. Whitener; step-great-grandchildren, Cameron, David, and Mallory.

Memorial Donations may be made in the name of Mary F. Klopper to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, 5712 Blanco Rd., San Antonio, TX 78216 or Military Officers Association of America Scholarship Loan Fund, 201 N. Washington St., Alexandria, VA 22314-2539.

Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 -11:00 am, Monday, October 2, 2006 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Monday, October 2, 2006 at St Nicholas Catholic Church with Monsignor William Hitpas presiding.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
