Obituary
Mary Ellen Reed, nee McCaw, age 89, of Manteca, Calif., born March 5, 1923 in Summerfield, Ill. passed away Friday, April 6, 2012.
Mary married Ivan Lowell Reed in 1950 then moved to Alameda, Calif. She loved to be with her family and friends and was an avid bingo and card player. Mary will be missed by all who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Lowell Reed; son Charles Reed, and brothers Edward McCaw and Carter McCaw.
Surviving are her daughter Cindy (Russ) Jones of Castro Valley, Calif., sons Donald (Gloria) Reed of Manteca, Calif., and Thomas Reed of Texas; grandchildren Stacey and Jodie Jones of Castro Valley, Monica (Bill) Mifsud of Hollister, Calif., Jeremy Reed of Arizona, and Andrew Reed of Texas.
Also surviving are brother Thomas (Nancy) McCaw of O'Fallon, Ill. and sister Suzanne (Allen) Hongsermeier of Camarillo, Calif., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Friday, May 18, 2012, at National Veterans Cemetery in Gustine, Calif.
