Mary Ann Villhard, nee Pensch, age 77, of O'Fallon, born May 25, 1933 in The Bronx, New York City, went to be with the Lord on Monday night, March 7, 2011 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

"Our Mother. Our Grandmother. Our Friend."

Mary Ann enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to Elvis and Celine Dion. She supported her husband's efforts at the local VFW Post 805.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara, nee Rickshay, Pensch; and her brother John Pensch.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Art, whom she married October 19, 1951 in New Orleans, her four children, Richard Villhard of Belleville, Art Villhard, Jr. of Cahokia, Kay Lynn (Anthony) Martinez of San Antonio, Tex., and Brian (Marcia) Villhard of O'Fallon; and grandchildren Jennifer, Jason, Janelle, Jacob Martinez, Joshua, Nathan and Connor Villhard, and Zachary Hall. Also surviving are her sister-in-law Emma Pensch of Florida, a close circle of supportive and loving friends, and her sweet dog, Pixie.

The family requests memorial donations in honor of Mrs. Villhard be made to American Cancer Society or Spencer Pet Rescue.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.

Funeral: Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 14, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. James Deiters officiating. Burial will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery.
