Obituary
Mary Kathleen Walsh, nee Barnickel, age 63, of O'Fallon, born November 16, 1952 in Downer's Grove, Ill., passed away Saturday morning, August 20, 2016.
Mary grew up in Downer's Grove, and graduated from Clark College in Dubuque, Iowa with a fine arts degree. She was a talented musician and gifted pianist, and was the former music conductor for a community theatre. She had shared her gift of music as a master teacher in the Joliet diocese. Her husband's job transferred them to New England, where she worked as Marketing Vice President for Putnam Company before retiring and moving to O'Fallon in 2003.
Surviving are her husband Michael, and their dog Sweeney.
Memorial donations are suggested to St Jude Children's Hospital.
Funeral: A Memorial Service will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2016, at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, Illinois. Reverend James Deiters will officiate.
