Matthew Alan Huffman, born September 2, 1997 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, passed away July 27, 2023 in O'Fallon, Ill. He was a 2016 graduate of O'Fallon Township High School.

Matthew was an avid reader who enjoyed blacksmithing, gaming, and studying the use of swords in European history with his friends; building and repairing computers; and drawing.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Huffman, Sr., and step-grandfather Richard Bell. Surviving are his parents, Michelle (nee Hartman) Huffman and Richard Huffman, Jr.; step-mom Amy Huffman; step-siblings Melissa Huffman and Joshua Bentley; grandmothers Cheryl Hartman and Dolores Huffman.
