Maurice William "Bill" Bixby, Jr., age 64, of Shiloh, Ill., born February 6, 1958 in Anchorage, Alaska, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 16, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Bill grew up as an Air Force brat, graduating from O'Fallon Twp. High School. He worked as a steelworker for Mayco Industries, in Granite City for many years. He enjoyed camping, boating, riding his side-by-side, and hanging out at the clubhouse by the Kaskaskia River. He was a hard worker, a good friend, and a good son.

He was preceded in death by his father Maurice W. Bixby, Sr., and his sister Terri Miller.

Surviving are his mother Carolyn Bixby of O'Fallon, brother Bruce (Terry) Bixby of Dupo; former step-daughter Samantha Clayton; nieces and nephews Katie (Byron) Correa of Virginia Beach, Va., Sarah Bixby of St. Louis, Matt Bixby of Dupo, Nicole (Kevin) McBride of Nashville, Ill., brother-in-law Ed Miller of Shiloh, and his good friend Joe Rodgers of New Baden, Ill.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill., followed by a Memorial Service to begin at 11 am. Burial will follow at a later date at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
