Michael David Hinton, age 58, of O'Fallon, Ill., born June 25, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii, has claimed victory in Jesus, as he died July 29, 2022, at his home, with his loving family surrounding him.

"What I really wanted was to live to 112 years old, and somehow that got
screwed up, so...I obviously am not there with you,
but know that I am with you in spirit." - Mike

Mike grew up as an Air Force Brat, the second child of David S. and Wanda Gail, nee Gilliam, Hinton. He attended Univ. of Tennessee Knoxville, and has been a dedicated employee at SWIC for nearly 20 years, where he worked as a database administrator. Mike was deeply dedicated to his family, giving of himself daily as a husband and father. He attended First Baptist Church O'Fallon and enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden.

Surviving are his wife Noel, nee Campbell, Hinton; his children Lleyna (Steven) Gorka, David C. (Courtney) Hinton, Riley J. Hinton, Cy D. Hinton, and Lydia Hinton; his parents David S. and Wanda Gail Hinton; his grandson Phoenix Gorka; sisters Deborah (Per) Hagstrom and Donna (Randy) Elliott; many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon.

Funeral Service will be 11 am, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church O'Fallon, SEVEN HILLS ENTRANCE, with Revs. Doug Munton and Skip Leininger officiating.
