Nadine Neva Johnson, nee Heitman, age 90, of Crystal City, Mo., formerly of New Baden and O'Fallon, born April 18, 1923 in O'Fallon, passed away Friday afternoon, March 7, 2014 at Crystal Oaks Care Center, Crystal City, Mo.

The Johnson family lived in O'Fallon for many years before moving to Clinton County, Ill. After her husband's death, Nadine moved to Crystal City to be near her daughter. Mrs. Johnson was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fairview Heights and had retired after many years of selling Avon cosmetics.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Norman Johnson, whom she married March 3, 1944 in O'Fallon, and who died December 12, 2011; her dear daughter Patricia Norma Lysakowski; her parents William and Celia, nee Spargo, Heitman; her sisters Shirley Heitman and Helen Markovich; parents-in-law Norman Robert Johnson and Hazel, nee Philips, Johnson.

Surviving are her daughters, Gloria Ann (Sam) Peach of Bowling Green, Ky., and Mary Ellen (Jim) Voss of Barnhart, Mo.; son-in-law Terry Lysakowski of O'Fallon; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00- 8:00 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon.

Funeral: Funeral Service will begin at 8:00 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the funeral home.

Burial of cremated remains will be at 11:15 am, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis County, Mo.
