M. Nadine Logan Wright, age 91, of O'Fallon, passed away at her home, July 8, 2006 at 10:30 pm.

Nadine was born December 2, 1914 in Crossville, Illinois to John Russell and Minnie G. (nee Endicott) Lockwood. She married Victor B. Logan on June 18, 1932. They moved to French Village and later relocated to O'Fallon in 1948. Nadine worked for a short time in the early 1950s in the jewelry department of Famous-Barr in St. Louis. Victor passed away December 12, 1976. Nadine married Albert Wright on October 29, 1980; he also preceded her in death on March 7, 1981.

Nadine was a homemaker and attended the First United Methodist Church of O'Fallon. She was a member and former President of the Shiloh Valley Garden Club, where she received numerous awards for her participation. She was also a member of the Belleville Area Rose Society. She has passed on her love of roses to her grandson, Trey, who continues to raise her roses. Nadine also was a member of the Friendship Club of Belleville and was a gifted crafter of over 100 porcelain bisque dolls. These dolls, in addition to her teddy bear collection, have adorned her home for many years.

Nadine is survived by her two sons, Victor B. (Barbara) Logan of Freeburg, IL; and Les L. (Brenda) Logan of Washington, MO; grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Terrell of Huntsville, AL; Victor B. "Trey" Logan of O'Fallon, IL; Brett Logan of Ballwin, MO; and Chistopher Logan of Washington, MO; step-children, Al (Kathy) Wright, Norm (Mary Ann) Wright, Doris (Donald) Scharf, Carolyn Hofsetetter, Patricia (Dave) Beidle; step-grandchildren, Sherry (Mike) Imes of O'Fallon, IL; Paula K. Wright of O'Fallon, IL; Sonya (Dave) DelVecchio of Swansea, IL; Jill and Jared Straatmann of Washington, MO; great grandchildren, Evan, Brandon, and Lauren Terrell; Step-great-grandchildren, Tanya (Mike) Hartman, Jennifer Betts, Kaylyn & Kylee DelVecchio; brother Donald Denbo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husbands, Nadine was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Russell Lockwood; daughter-in-law, Carol (nee Covington) Logan on October 13, 2001 , and her grandson Anthony "Tony" Logan, on February 3, 2003.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in the name of Nadine Logan Wright to Heartland Hospice, 333 Salem Place, Fairview Heights, IL 62208, or First United Methodist Church of O'Fallon, 504 E. Highway 50, O'Fallon, IL 62269.

Friends may call from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 15, 2006 at First United Methodist Church of O'Fallon.

Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, at the church with Reverend Joel Catlin officiating. A reception will immediately follow the services in the church's fellowship hall.

Private interment will take place at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Illinois
