Nancy Jane Hurst, nee Fuchs, age 72, of Belleville, born December 24, 1948 in Pine Lawn, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning, October 27, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, following a brief illness.

Nancy grew up in East St. Louis and graduated from Saint Teresa Academy. She was a dedicated wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband Jerry Lee Hurst, of Belleville; daughter Suzanne (Adam) Bauers; step-son Kenneth (Kathy) Hurst; daughter-in-law Tracy Hurst; grandchildren Malcolm Hurst, Samantha Stephens, Amelia Hurst, Kevin Hurst, Kyle Hurst, and Kurtis Hurst; and two great-grandchildren Kevin Hurst, Jr., and Ellie Hurst.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Viola, nee Lurtz, Fuchs; her daughter Tracey L. Klug; her step-son Ronald J. Hurst; and grandson Tyler A. Stephens.

Nancy will be laid to rest in a private service at College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Illinois.
