Nancy Joan Pfeiffer, age 71, of O'Fallon, formerly of Belleville, Ill., born November 20, 1953 in St. Louis, Mo., passed away January 31, 2025.

Nancy grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Ritenour High School. She married John T. Pfeiffer on May 21, 1977. Nancy was a lifelong caregiver, showing love and kindness to family members, friends of her children, and as a babysitter and teacher's aide. She loved animals, being with children, watching hummingbirds, tending her cats, and spending time with her family. She also loved to crochet afghan blankets and share them with others.

She was preceded in death by her mother Joan Dreste, special grandparents Joseph and Dorothy Dreste; brother Mark Dreste, sister Gretchen Chamineak; parents-in-law L. Edward and Idamay Pfeiffer; brother-in-law Paul Pfeiffer; and sister-in-law Margaret Pfeiffer.

She is survived by her husband John T. Pfeiffer of O'Fallon; son Ed (Cassidae) Pfeiffer of St. Louis, daughter Elizabeth (Matt Morris) of Belleville; grandchildren Zoe, Morgan, Olivia and Ava; siblings Don (Kathleen) Dreste, Paul (Jennifer) Dreste, and Pete (Phyllis) Dreste; and in-laws Linda (Jim) Macke, James Pfeiffer and Bill Pfeiffer, and her beloved cat Sassy.

Funeral: 10 am, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
