Danela Marie "Nell" Jones, age 36, of Breese, born November 10, 1987 in Belleville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Nell grew up in Fairview Heights where she loved to play soccer. Her family moved to Breese when she was in 8th grade; upon graduating from Central High School, she worked in lawn maintenance at Scott AFB. She had been a long-time employee at Jim's Formal Wear, and was a loving and dedicated mom to her son Kiram. Nell was very friendly and outgoing, and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ancel and Irene Jones, and Robert L. Stewart; nephew Ira Rakers; brother Joshua Jones, and long-time boyfriend Greg Lewis.

Surviving are her parents Danny and Dawn, nee Stewart, Jones of Carlyle, Ill.; sister Julia "Kristy" Jones of O'Fallon; son Kiram Kahn, and his father Pete Kahn; grandmother Mary E. Stewart; nephew Dossen, niece Jaelin, and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, followed by a service to begin at 7 pm, at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill. Private burial will be at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
