Pamela Settles, age 70, of Belleville, Ill., passed away December 14, 2022. She was born November 24, 1952 in East St. Louis, the daughter of Charles and Shirley, nee Phegley, Settles.

Pam worked in the beauty shop business her whole career. She specialized in doing senior ladies' hair and loved every minute of it. She had her own beauty shop, Pam's Beauty Nook, until retirement. She also worked for several years at Calvin Johnson Nursing Care facility, doing hair for many of the residents. Pam led a quiet life after retiring, and that seemed to be fine with her.

She always said that Jesus was with her and she was quick to pray for her friends and family. Pam will be missed very much.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 pm, Monday, December 19, 2022 at Marissa Township Cemetery, Marissa, Illinois.
