IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ruth
Bleisch
April 10, 1939 – September 1, 2022
Patricia Ruth Bleisch, nee Klein, 83, was born on Easter Monday, April 10, 1939, in the family home on Madison Street, O'Fallon, IL. She died on September 1, 2022 in Belleville, IL.
Pat entered the world as the youngest of eight children born to Christine, nee Rosen, and Henry J. Klein. She was a long-time parishioner of St Clare of Assisi as she received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion. On January 18, 1958 she entered Holy Matrimony with Cletus Bleisch. Together they continued to raise their twelve children in St Clare parish. Later in life Pat & Clete joined the St. Nicholas parish.
She held so many hearts as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law & aunt. Her family was blessed in so many ways, including homemade meals, lots of hugs & smiles and more patience than Saint Job. After 10 years she retired from Clete's Auto Repair, the family business. She kept busy as she expanded her crafts to knitting hats, scarves & blankets. She made hats for family members, newborns, and Christmas clothing drives that her children & grandchildren encountered in their careers. She made blankets, afghans, and baby gifts so that everyone could have their very own. There was so much love in each piece.
Pat was preceded in death by her Parents, Christina & Henry Klein; Siblings Robert (Bernice) Klein; Ethel (William) Hunter; Genevieve (David) Daniels; Henry (Laura) Klein; Charles (Jeanne) Klein; Lorraine (Lawrence) Poelker; and sister-in-law Karen Klein.
