Obituary

Age 68, of Waterloo, Ill., formerly of O'Fallon, born October 16, 1939 in St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday evening, November 29, 2007 following a brief stay at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Pat was a longtime devoted parishioner at St. Clare Catholic Church, where she served as a Trustee and was a member of the Altar Sodality. She was a member of the St. Louis Dahlia Society, a former member and president of Fairview Heights Khoury League, and leader of the 4-H Club. She retired from Mid-American Marketing, where she had worked for many years. Pat was a true fan of the St. Louis Cardinals; she enjoyed gardening, tending her dahlias, and fishing in their nearby pond. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her beautiful smile will be missed by her family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Dolores (nee Burkhart) Bradley, brothers Edward, William, Leon, and Daniel.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Gerardi, Sr., of Waterloo, formerly of O'Fallon, whom she married August 12, 1961 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Fairview Heights; her three sons, Louis Gerardi, Jr. of Rolla, Mo; Leon (Vicki) Gerardi of Cookeville, Tenn; and Patrick Gerardi of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; and three grandchildren Jennifer, Ethan, and Olivia. She is also survived by her sisters Mary (Charles) Ingles of Freeburg, Ill; and Jane (Dennis) Voegele of Columbia, Ill; and her brother James (Mary) Bradley of Waterloo, Ill. Her family also includes 36 nieces and nephews and many many cousins, great nieces and great nephews-all of whom she loved dearly.

Memorials may be made to the St. Clare Church Building Fund, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, IL 62269.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, and after 9:00 am, Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at St. Clare Catholic Church. All visitation will be held at the church.

Funeral Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at St. Clare Catholic Church with Rev. James Deiters presiding.

Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
