Patricia Ann Green, nee Young, of Shiloh, Ill., formerly of Spartanburg, S.C., passed away Thursday morning, April 16, 2026 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, near St. Louis, Mo.
Patricia was born August 8, 1942 in Spartanburg and worked various jobs while supporting her late husband Roy and his long military career. She was a devoted homemaker and mother to her two children. She was a former member of the Park Hills Church of God in Spartanburg, S.C., NKA Lifespring Church of Boiling Springs, S.C. Since moving to the metro-east, she had attended First Baptist Church O’Fallon. Most recently, she was a faithful attendee at Addington Place of Shiloh’s Sunday morning church service and Saturday Bible Study.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy A. Green; parents Moses and Myrtle, nee Barnette, Young; parents-in-law Roy Fay and Mattie Lucille Conway Greene; brothers-in-law George (Roxie) Green, Hilton (Jane) Green and Jim Denney; niece Gail Denney; and a grandson Nathaniel Green.
Survivors include her two children Retired MSGT Randy (Michele) Green of Crestview, Fla., daughter Rhonda (Kenny) Bouas of Lebanon, Ill.; sister-in-law Foye Lee Green Denney of Pikeville, Tenn.; grandchildren Brittany Green (MSGT Jonathan) Brown of Fort Belvoir, Va.; Alex Green of Crestview, Fla.; Crystal Green (Kenny) Hayslette of Crestview, Fla.; Jacob Roy (Tatum) Green of Crestview, Fla.; Bryan Bouas of O’Fallon, Ill.; Kaylee Bouas (Nicholas) Van Osdale of Shiloh, Ill.; great-grandchildren Kyler, Nathaniel, and Brent Brown; Lincoln, Peyton, Kyler, and Chipper Green; Brody and Hudson Hayslette; Adalynn Van Osdale; nieces and nephews Terry Denney, Steven (Trish) Denney, Rachel Green (Michael) Forrest, Benjamin Green, Ales Green, Walter Green, and several great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation: 3 – 5 pm, Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O’Fallon, IL.
Funeral service will immediately follow at 5 pm, at the funeral home, with Pastors Bryan Anderson and Bob Forhetz officiating. Procession will depart Wolfersberger Funeral Home at 8 am, Monday, April 20, 2026 for a graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
