Patricia Ann Vollmer, nee Davis, age 76, of O'Fallon, Ill., born September 15, 1941, passed away at home, January 12, 2018.

Pat grew up in O'Fallon, graduated from O'Fallon Township High School in 1959, and was a lifelong parishioner at St. Clare Catholic Church. She was both a teacher at St. Clare Catholic School and a librarian at O'Fallon Public Library for many years. Pat was active in her community and her church as a PSR teacher and coordinator for funeral luncheons, among many other things. She enjoyed scrapbooking, adored her grandchildren, and leaves a legacy of love and generosity to the St. Clare school and church community.

She was preceded in death by her parents Geraldine (Charles) Kloustermeyer, her father Ralph Davis, infant son Craig Alan Vollmer, and brother Edward F. Kloustermeyer.

Surviving are her husband Gilbert "Gib" Vollmer, whom she married September 8, 1961 at St. Clare Catholic Church; her children Deborah (Greg) Edwards of Belleville, Julie (Eric) Hahn of St. Louis, Jeffrey (Rachel) Vollmer of St. Louis, and Beth (Jim) Ferry of Belleville; her much-loved 11 grandchildren John and Sam Edwards, Sarah (Logan) Duncan, Emily and Alexander Hahn, Maya, Quinn, Henry, and Tess Vollmer, and Joshua and Ellen Binnion; brother Rick (Kathy) Davis, and sister-in-law Donna Kloustermeyer, and many extended family members.

Memorial donations are suggested to American Diabetes Association or St. Clare School.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill., and from 9:00 – 9:45 am, Monday, January 15, 2018, at the church.

The St. Clare Senior Group will conduct a walk-through and prayer service at 9 am, Monday, during the visitation at the church.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Clare Catholic Church, Shiloh, Ill., with Rev. James Deiters, presiding. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh.
