Paul E. Pfeiffer, age 68, of O'Fallon, Ill., born November 10, 1952 in East St. Louis, Ill., died peacefully at home, March 1, 2021.

Paul graduated from Assumption High School in 1970, and earned his Marketing degree from SIUE.  He was a painter with the East St. Louis Housing Authority, and a longtime volunteer with Catholic Urban Programs and Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Paul was a sports enthusiast and avid sports statistician and trivia buff. He was a fun-loving uncle, playing "Santa" for many years for his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents L. Edward and Idamay, nee Turner, Pfeiffer and sister Margaret "Margie" Pfeiffer.

Surviving are his siblings Linda (James) Macke of Swansea, James Pfeiffer of Granite City, John (Nancy) Pfeiffer of Belleville, and William Pfeiffer of O'Fallon; nephews and nieces Brian Macke, Jared Macke, Eric (Jenna) Macke and their children Eli, Henry, and Addison; Laura Macke, Edward (Cassidae) Pfeiffer and their children Zoe, Morgan, and Olivia; Elizabeth (Matt Morris) Pfeiffer and their daughter Ava.
