Paul David "Shorty" Wagner, age 77, of rural Mascoutah, formerly of Shiloh, Ill., born June 12, 1939 in Shiloh, died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Shorty was a lifelong farmer and was a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau. He was a collector of toy tractors and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Shiloh.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Mary Ann, nee Boyer, Wagner; his brothers Raymond, Robert, Donald, Vernon, Kenneth, Melvin; sisters Marion and Delores Wagner and Ruth Schwaegel.

Surviving are his sister Patricia Wagner of Mishawaka, Ind., sisters-in-law Joanne Wagner of Belleville, and Linda Wagner of Shiloh; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to American Heart Association or St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Funeral: Graveside Service will be 11:00 am, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Illinois, with Msgr. Jim Margason officiating.
