Penny Jean Morris, 76, of O'Fallon, Ill., passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Aviston Countryside Manor. She was born on November 22, 1948 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Donald and Alice (nee Currie) MacIntyre.

Penny enlisted in the US Army in 1977 and served honorably for 3 years. She had worked many years as a security guard and was also a realtor in the O'Fallon area. She was a member of the O'Fallon Moose Lodge 2608, Women of the Moose Chapter 2281, and American Legion Post 137. Penny enjoyed sewing, crocheting, decorating her home for the holidays, and making her own jewelry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Neuner.

She is survived by her friends at the O'Fallon Moose, who were more like family to her.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at 5 pm, October 31, 2025 at the American Legion Hall (UPSTAIRS), 109 N. Penn St., O'Fallon, Ill. Army Honors will be rendered at 5 pm.
