Anne Lorraine "Rainy" Libell, nee Davis, age 88, lifelong resident of Caseyville Township, near Fairview Heights, Ill., passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare in Lebanon, Ill.

Born November 5, 1932 at her home, Rainy lived in the same home her entire life. Along with her late husband Donald, she attended St. Michael's Episcopal Church in O'Fallon for many years. Rainy was a talented seamstress, a wonderful cook, and enjoyed crocheting and international travel.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; her parents John H. and Marie, nee Jensen, Davis; son Bradley Libell; son-in-law Steven Ziegler; and all of her siblings.

Surviving are her children Mark Libell of University City, Mo., Bruce Libell, Nelson (Carolyn) Libell, Sr. of St. Louis, Mo., and Andrea  Ziegler of Fairview Heights, Ill.; her grandchildren Alexander, Jason, Sharon, Nelson Jr., Jordan, Jason, and Alexandra; great-grandchildren Beverly, Rylee, Teslyn, and Enik; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held privately with the family on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, in O'Fallon, with Fr. John Thorpe presiding. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
