Obituary
Raymond C. Christopher, age 62, of O'Fallon, Ill., born June 28, 1951 in Belleville, Ill., died April 25, 2014 at his home.
Ray grew up in O'Fallon, graduated from Althoff Catholic High School and SIUE. A lifelong train enthusiast, he previously worked at St Louis Museum of Transportation and spent the next 28 years employed at Memorial Hospital, most recently as the electrical supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Mildred, nee Meinkoth, Christopher; his brother John E. Christopher; and brothers-in-law Darrell D. Bien and James Norman.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, nee Bien, Christopher of O'Fallon; sister Susan (Dean) Hageman; and sisters-in-law Mary Christopher, Kathleen Norman and Sylvia Bien, all of Belleville; an aunt, uncle, nine nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
Memorials are suggested to Spencer Pet Rescue or the charity of choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Memorial Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.
Funeral: Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the funeral home with Chaplain Doug Nicely officiating.
