Obituary

Richard Arthur "Dick" Corradini, (Lt. Col., US Army, retired) age 73, of Shiloh, Ill., born September 28, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. , passed away, July 12, 2016 at Cedarhurst Assisted Living, Shiloh.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Ruth, nee Siddens, Corradini, and sister Theresa Jewell.

Surviving are his wife Judith, nee Nicholls, Corradini, of 50 years, daughters Kimberly Corradini, Karen (Daniel) Schmitz, and Kathryn (David) Browne, and grandchildren Kaylee, Carson, Elyse, and William.

He attended the University of Illinois, earning a Degree in Engineering, as well as the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterrey, Calif.

Dick spent 25 years in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. His military honors include the Legion of Merit, two Bronze Star medals with valor devices, three additional Bronze Star Medals, and the Purple Heart. He was later employed as the Facility Engineer at the Melvin Price Depot, and as Project Manager for National Imaging and Mapping Agency (NGA), retiring July 6, 2006.

Dick was a loving husband, father, and Grampa.

The Corradini family thanks Cedarhurst Care and Family Hospice for their kindness and tender care.

The family will conduct a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Central Presbyterian Church, 7700 Davis Drive (at S. Hanley), Clayton, Missouri.

For those wishing, flowers may be sent directly to the church.

A Military Graveside Committal Service will be held privately with the family at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
