Robert Edward Baker, Jr., age 66, of Fort Worth, Tex., formerly of O'Fallon, Ill., born May 20, 1956 in Bernkastel, Germany, to Robert Edward Baker, Sr., and Gertrud Maria, nee Velten, Baker, passed away November 2, 2022 in Fort Worth, Tex.

Bobby grew up in O'Fallon, Ill., along with his sisters Mary and Luci, and his brother Ernie. Bobby attended O'Fallon Township High School, where he was in the Chess Club and on the Bowling Team. After graduation, he joined the Marines in 1974. Bobby liked to ride his motorcycle, and really loved his sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Mets.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Gertrud.

Surviving are his son Jared and his wife Christine and their children Tyler and Mackenzie; daughter Brandy Boyer and her children Alyssa, Emma, and Hailey; son Jason Baker and his children Lilliana and Savannah; son Sam Galvin; daughter Brittany Lamb and her husband Jesse and children Malia and Jackson; and his siblings Mary, Luci, and Ernie.

Visitation: 11:30 am, Friday, December 2, 2022 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill. Procession will depart the Funeral Home at 12:45 pm, for a 1:30 Graveside at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. Military honors will be rendered.

Following the burial, at approximately 3:30, friends are invited to join the family for drinks and desserts at the O'Fallon VFW Post 805, 211 W. First st., O'Fallon, Ill.

Bobby was loved, and will be dearly missed.
