Obituary

Robert E. Boller, 87, passed away in his home in O'Fallon Township, Illinois, Monday afternoon, November 5, 2007. Robert was born November 7, 1919 in Junction City, Kan. to Raymond and Marion (nee Hooper) Boller. He graduated in 1936 from San Xavier High School, Junction City and worked as a salesman for Hogan Mills until 1941. Mr. Boller enlisted in the US Army Air Corps in 1942, serving during WW II until 1946. In 1955, he began his long and dedicated career with the federal government as a Human Resource Manager, where he supervised civilian personnel. His job responsibilities took him to many military installations worldwide, including Turkey, Newfoundland, and South Korea. While in Korea, he met his wife, Chong Cha Ho. They married in 1975. They moved to O'Fallon, Illinois recently from El Paso, Texas.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Michael James Boller, who passed away in 1997.

He is survived by his loving wife Chong Cha Boller (nee Ho) of O'Fallon, IL; his four daughters Janice (David) Patrick of O'Fallon, IL; Barbara Cordell, Cindy Boller, and Julie (Steve) Darnell, all of Texas; his brother Daniel "Pat" Boller and wife, Dorothy, of Junction City, Kan., 1 niece and 4 nephews.

Memorial Donations in honor of Robert E. Boller may be made to American Cancer Society, #5 Schiber Ct, Maryville, IL 62062.
