Robin G. Brewster

Robin Grant Brewster, age 56, of Shiloh, Ill., born February 19, 1956 in Houston, Tex., passed away suddenly Sunday, July 8, 2012, in West Burlington, Iowa.

Robin and his family were in the process of relocating to West Burlington due to Robin's work with CenturyLink/Qwest, where he was employed as Inside/Outside Plant Supervisor in telecommunications. He took great pride in his work and developed strong friendships with his co-workers. He represented CenturyLink/Qwest in the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and on their Community Relations Team. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and his greatest hobby was doing "whatever his kids were doing."

Mr. Brewster was preceded in death by his loving mother at a young age; his father-in-law Raymond Garrison;his father-in-law John "Hans" Zrenner; and brother-in-law Michael Zrenner.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy "Dottie" Brewster, nee Zrenner; his sons Tyler Schwarz and Austin Brewster, all of Shiloh, parents-in-law Rita and Moe Frech of O'Fallon and Mary Garrison of Breese; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rose Stock, Dennis Zrenner, Scott Garrison and Melissa Garrison.

The family would be appreciative of donations to the charity of donor's choice or to the family to support the children's education.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2012 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O'Fallon.

Funeral: Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 pm, at the church, with Msgr. William J. Hitpas officiating.
