Robyn Marie Icide-Petersen, of O'Fallon, formerly of Las Vegas, Nev., beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away June 4, 2010 at the age of 54.

Born July 12, 1955 in Belleville, Ill. to Virgil Lee Icide and Rosemary, nee Vunetich, Icide, Robyn grew up in O'Fallon and later attended Meramec Community College. She was employed for many years with the former Mercantile Bank in St. Louis as a retail banking officer. In 1990, she and her husband started their own venture, Great Western Communications, in Las Vegas, Nev., where she served as Vice President and Corporate Secretary.

Robyn was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 20 years, Dewey Petersen, (formerly of St. Louis) and her father Virgil Lee Icide, both in 2009.

She is survived by her son, Stephen St. John and his fiancee, Lindsay Comer, of Las Vegas., Nev., her mother Rosemary Icide, her sister Amy Jo Murano and her husband Lawrence, all of O'Fallon, her brother Chris Alan Icide and his wife, Debby, of Moss Beach, Calif., her former husband and friend Dennis St. John and his wife, Jennifer, of Phoenix, Ariz., aunts, uncles, and many dear cousins and friends.

Memorials in honor of Robyn Petersen are suggested to Stephen St. John, for a charity yet to be determined.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon, Ill.

Funeral Service: A Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the funeral home, with Rev. Dr. Joel Catlin officiating.
