Roger Lee Eberhardt, age 78, of O'Fallon, born December 7, 1938 in Shiloh, Ill., died Sunday morning, February 12, 2017 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, Ill.

A lifelong resident of Shiloh and O'Fallon, Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering with cars in his younger years. He had formerly worked as a custodian and forklift operator.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Ella, nee Cebulske, Eberhardt; his daughter Brenda Hepburn; sister Shirley Reid; and brother-in-law Oscar Brandmeyer.

Surviving are his son Brian (Kathryn) Eberhardt of New Baden, Ill.; grandchildren Daniel, Nicole, and Sarah Eberhardt, Kathleen (Mike) Hadden, and Anthony Hepburn; five great-grandchildren; sister Elsie Brandmeyer of O'Fallon; and four nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are requested to American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W Washington St., O'Fallon.

Funeral: 10:00 am, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
