Ronald R. Barber, age 70, of O'Fallon, born November 6, 1942 in East St. Louis, Ill., to Ralph L. Barber and Helen, nee Elceser, Barber, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Ron was a metro-east native and veteran of the US Marine Corps. He retired from Civil Service where he worked many years as a warehouse manager at the Commissary.

Surviving are his wife Muriel Barber, of O'Fallon; son Christopher (Lisa) Barber, and his father Ralph Barber.

He was preceded in death by his mother Helen, and son Brian Barber.

Graveside Service, with military honors, will be 9:30 am, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill., with Rev. James Deiters presiding.
