Roxie A. Cooper Carpenter, age 53, of O'Fallon, born May 4, 1966 in Dalhart, Texas, passed away January 8, 2020 at SSM St. Mary's Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Roxie graduated from Triad High School in 1984 and SIUE in 1989 with a degree in Accounting. Currently, she was employed in the accounting department of Corporate Headquarters for Mercy Hospital. Roxie was an independent and hard-working professional. In her spare time, she enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, and traveling. She was a member of Women of the Moose, Lodge #2281, in O'Fallon.

She was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Cooper.

Surviving are her husband Donus "Donnie" Carpenter of O'Fallon; children and bonus-children Casey Woods, Jessica (Tim Schnieders) Woods, Tyler Woods, Craig (Jennifer Bright) Carpenter, and Sharee Carpenter; her father Floyd Cooper; brothers Donny Archer, Gene (Kathy) Cooper, and Russell Cooper; and numerous grandchildren.

Memorial donations would be appreciated to the local Moose Lodge #2281 and will be accepted at the funeral home.

The family encourages you to dress casually and wear a Harley t-shirt.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., O'Fallon.  The Women of the Moose will conduct a walk-through at 6:30 pm.

Funeral: 10:30 am, Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the funeral home with Mike Deets officiating. Burial will follow at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill. ALL ARE WELCOME to join the family at the American Legion Hall, 109 N. Penn, O'Fallon, where the Moose Lodge friends will serve a dinner for Roxie's friends and family. Please come.
