Sandra Jones (nee Easley), age 93, passed away June 12, 2026 in Maryville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Easley; her husband, Calvin Jones, and her son, Peter Jones.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Asbury College in Kentucky and her Master’s Degree in Education from McKendree University.
Sandra leaves behind a legion of students whom she lovingly taught in East St. Louis. She was a devoted teacher for the district for 30 years, as well as co-owner of a confectionary shop with her beloved Calvin.
A private graveside service is being planned. Donations in Sandra’s name may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society at https://bahspets.org/
